How does private label work for an acetoxy sanitary silicone sealant?

As the manufacturer of this acetoxy sanitary silicone sealant, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the cartridge or sausage, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.

What is the MOQ for an acetoxy sanitary silicone sealant in cartridges and sausages?

We supply this acetoxy sanitary silicone sealant in private label in both cartridges and foil sausages. For cartridges with screen printing – the most professional and most popular option – the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1,248 pieces; labelled cartridges are also possible thanks to our own labelling machines. Foil sausages are available in private label from 660 pieces, with your product name printed on the packaging.

What is Acetoxy Sanitary Sealant 120 designed for?

Acetoxy Sanitary Sealant 120 is a one-component, mould-resistant acetoxy sanitary silicone sealant for sanitary joints around baths, showers, washbasins, toilets and urinals, as well as ceramic tiles, kitchens and small connection joints on smooth, non-porous surfaces. It remains permanently elastic, is colourfast and offers very good UV resistance and excellent (sea)water resistance. It is also resistant to common cleaning agents.

Are there substrates where this acetoxy silicone should not be used?

Yes. The acetic acid released during curing can cause staining and edge discolouration on natural stone, where an MS-polymer sealant is the better choice, and it can attack mirrors and sensitive metals, where a neutral-curing silicone is recommended. Acetoxy chemistry is also less suited to porous and alkaline substrates, so we always advise a compatibility test when in doubt.

What are the curing and temperature figures for Acetoxy Sanitary Sealant 120?

A skin forms in approx. 15 minutes, and the sealant cures to a depth of 1.5 mm after 24 hours and 6.5 mm after 7 days. It can be applied between +5 °C and +40 °C and, once cured, withstands temperatures from -50 °C to +180 °C. Because silicone needs atmospheric moisture to cure, it is not recommended for fully enclosed spaces, and it cannot be painted over.
