How does private label work for a polyurethane windshield adhesive?
As the manufacturer of this polyurethane windshield adhesive, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the cartridge or sausage, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.
Throughout the whole process you have one dedicated contact person. Private label is the core of our business, and our organisation and production are fully set up for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes and the possibilities.
What is the MOQ for a polyurethane windshield adhesive in cartridges and sausages?
We supply this polyurethane windshield adhesive in private label in both cartridges and foil sausages. For cartridges with screen printing – the most professional and most popular option – the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1,248 pieces; labelled cartridges are also possible thanks to our own labelling machines. Foil sausages are available in private label from 660 pieces, with your product name printed on the packaging.

Which glazing applications is PU 70 Windshield Adhesive designed for?
PU 70 Windshield Adhesive is an isocyanate-free polyurethane windshield adhesive for bonding windscreens in commercial and industrial vehicles and side and rear windows in vans and buses. It is also suited to fixed glazing in caravans, motorhomes, containers, machines and vehicle cabs. Thanks to its low electrical conductivity, it can be used in aluminium vehicle structures and, after a compatibility check, on glass with integral antennas or heating elements.
What pre-treatment does PU 70 require?
Glass should first be treated with a cleaner/activator and then a glass primer, observing the specified flash-off times. On standard painted vehicle flanges a primer is usually not needed, but run a trial if in doubt. Glass without sufficient ceramic frit or other UV protection requires additional UV protection of the adhesive bead, and the glass must be placed within the tack-free time of around 35 minutes.
What strength and temperature resistance does PU 70 offer?
When fully cured, PU 70 Windshield Adhesive reaches a tensile strength of at least 7.5 N/mm² and elongation at break of at least 500% to ISO 37, with a Shore A hardness of 55. It is temperature resistant from -40 °C to +100 °C, and briefly up to +140 °C. Through-cure is around 3 mm per 24 hours at 23 °C and 50% RH.
