How does private label work for a non-crack acrylic sealant?

As the manufacturer of this non-crack acrylic sealant, we produce it under your own brand name. It works in a few clear steps: together we select the right product and you test samples in your own application. We then customise the cartridge or sausage, the box and the label to your brand, with support from our in-house marketing team for the label design, and we take care of the technical and safety data sheets and the UFI codes. Finally, we produce, check every batch in our own laboratory and deliver on the agreed schedule.

What is the MOQ for a non-crack acrylic sealant in cartridges and sausages?

We supply this non-crack acrylic sealant in private label in both cartridges and foil sausages. For cartridges with screen printing – the most professional and most popular option – the minimum order quantity (MOQ) is 1,248 pieces; labelled cartridges are also possible thanks to our own labelling machines. Foil sausages are available in private label from 660 pieces, with your product name printed on the packaging.

What does ‘non-crack’ mean for Acrylic Non Crack sealant?

Acrylic Non Crack sealant is a plasto-elastic, one-component, water-based acrylic sealant that helps prevent cracking and crazing in the paint layer applied over the joint. It can be painted over with the most common paint systems, provided the surface is sufficiently dry and the paint is suitable for the sealant. Because paint systems vary, we recommend a test in advance.

Which applications and substrates suit this non-crack acrylic sealant?

This non-crack acrylic sealant is intended for filling and sealing joints, corners, seams and cracks indoors, for example in walls, ceilings, window sills, stairs, frames, plasterwork and plasterboard. It adheres well to porous substrates but less well to smooth, closed and non-porous surfaces. It is not suitable for bituminous, tar-containing or plasticiser-containing substrates, nor for movement joints with high expansion loads.

How does Acrylic Non Crack sealant cure and what affects drying time?

It cures by evaporation of water, forming a skin in approximately 20 minutes at 23 °C and 50% RH and curing to 6.5 mm after 7 days. High humidity, low temperatures and deep joints slow down skin formation and curing, and the colour may change slightly while drying. Do not apply it in rain or on wet substrates, and protect the uncured sealant from moisture until a skin has formed.
